Welcome to Dega Quail
We started raising quail to progress our family to a self sufficient lifestyle, and very quickly became amazed by all the many beautiful colors Coturnix quail has to offer, and have since desired to not only produce every possible plumage color, pattern, and combination, but also worked toward good temperament birds with healthy, strong body conformation.
We are currently a hobby breeder, meaning we breed to meet standards and for the betterment of the breed; quality not quantity. Because we are a small operation, we maintain a selective number of breeders to keep things manageable, and utilizing only the best to progress our breeding lines.

We commenced our breeding program with a small covey of quail, which enabled us to learn the fundamentals of creating a high-quality line and achieving self-sufficiency for our family.
